Renovations, Bathrooms & Extensions around Basin View

Basin View is a mix of established homes and newer builds, so the work varies from bringing older wiring up to standard to adding the extras a builder left out of a newer home.

Whether it's a kitchen in an older house or an extension on a newer one, Jade works with your builder or directly with you to plan lights, power and data before the walls close up.

Homes near the escarpment and bush get their share of storms and fallen branches. If power drops out after a storm, it's worth getting the switchboard and any damaged outdoor wiring checked before resetting things repeatedly.

What we do

Bathroom renovations: heated towel rails, exhaust fans, mirror demisters, downlights and IP-rated fittings
Kitchen renovations: oven, cooktop and rangehood circuits, under-cabinet lighting, island bench power and USB points
Extensions and granny flats: new circuits, sub-boards and switchboard capacity checks
Alterations: moving, adding or removing power points, switches and lights
Safety switch and switchboard checks so the new work is protected
Data and TV points while the walls are open

Renovations, Bathrooms & Extensions in Basin View

Plan it before the walls close

The cheapest time to add a power point is before the plasterboard goes on. We walk through the plan with you, room by room, and mark every point, switch and light so nothing is missed and nothing needs to be chased in later.

Renovation electrician in Basin View: common questions

Do you cover Basin View?

Yes. Basin View is part of our regular service area around Nowra & Shoalhaven, along with Hyams Beach, Erowal Bay, St Georges Basin. Call or text Jade to book a time.

How do I get a price for renovation wiring in Basin View?

Every job is different, so Jade gives you a fixed, written price before any work starts. Send a photo or a quick description and he'll tell you what's involved.

Do you work with my builder or directly with me?

Either. Plenty of homeowners manage their own renovation, and plenty of jobs come through builders. We fit in with whichever way your project runs.

Will my switchboard handle the extra load?

Older switchboards often need an upgrade to handle new kitchens, air-conditioning or extensions. We check it as part of the quote and tell you upfront if it's needed.
